Last week’s winner was Warsonbrewing. Jesse gave us the answer to this trivia question – in liters mind you: how much beer is lost each year in people’s mustaches and beards in Great Britain. The answer was 24,502 gallons, or 92,749 liters. Jesse gets a signed copy of Charles Bamfourth’s book Beer: Tap into the Art and Science of Brewing. Congrats Jesse! Watch to find out what deviousness we’ve dropped into this week’s question.

BEER NEWS
Story #1: 2009 Munich Oktoberfest is over - The number of revelers dropped slightly this year amid economic woes and tighter security. “Only 5.7” million drinkers staggered through the beer tents during the two-week festival compared with 6 million the year before. However, fewer people drank more beer – 6.5 million liters were consumed, an increase from 6 million in 2008.
Story #2: New Belgium Pedals Further into Wisconsin – New Belgium Brewing, the third-largest craft brewer in the U.S., has just entered the Eau Claire, La Crosse, Menomonie and Wausau areas of Wisconsin.
Story #3: Raise a glass to U.S. beer travel – With more than 1,500 breweries across the U.S., beer is no longer just a drink — it’s a destination.
Story #4: Belgian Ales Instead of Wine – The beer world is changing due in large part to the influence of Belgian Ales, and many Americans are taking notice. Like we’ve said here at BTTV… Beer is the Wine of ’09!
