UPDATES

National Beer Day – We need to correct something said about National Beer Day on last week’s episode. The Brewers Association has nothing to do with it.  A few years back they attempted to get something like this going, but they abandoned the project. National Beer Day was started by Justin Smith from Richmond, Virginia, and Mike Connolly from Liverpool, England.  They’ve put many hours into networking and making calls to different beer publications and beer establishments and it’s their goal to have this become a celebration in all 50 states next year. They bought the rights to usnationalbeerday.com and hope to bring more attention to the date as the important historical event that it is.
