From The Brewer: http://boulevardbrewing.com/smokestack/

ABV- 9.0%
IBUs - 30
Availability: Part of the Brewmasters Collection.

From Us: The first thing we noticed was a TON of sediment in this bottle, and I do mean a TON. Just uncorking it raised a bunch of it into the beer, and it never did settle down, like some weird Star Trek elixir, it just stay suspended in the beer for ever. On the nose we got a the typical Belgian yeast you would expect, but the flavor surprised us. A much thicker, maltier creamy taste for sure, with a nice smooth, sweet finish.

While I love the Saison and Tripel both, just wondering why you guys chose to review these before the IPA (Doublewide)? Them hops are fading! Yes, it ages well as most big IPAs do, but the character definitely changes from when it's fresh. Just sayin'...

BTW, the Tripel is my favorite of the Smokestacks... just wish they did a Dubbel.
