There mission is to supply 100% Oregon grown aroma hops to the craft beer industry using a sustainable, transparent and fair pricing structure. All of their hops are grown in the heart of the Willamette Valley, the finest area for aroma hops in the U.S.[/url]
Story #2: Wine fest adjusts for recession (http://adage.com/article?article_id=140106 By Beth Snyder Bulik - Advertsing Age)- (story brought to our attention by Rick Andrews of "Ales from the Crypt" (http://alesfromthecrypt.blogspot.com/) fame) - Adding specialty beers and emphasizing the food aspect of the eighth annual Suncoast Food & Wine Fest, formerly the Suncoast Winefestival, were two changes the Rotary Club made to keep the event successful in depressed times.

Mountain Standard Reserve ‘09 - Odell Brewing - Fort Collins, CO (http://beertaptv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=538) - On November 2, when daylight savings time officially ended, Odell released Mountain Standard.The 9.4% ABV deep mahogany ale features local organic hops and pays tribute to the region’s oft forgotten time zone.
NEW BREWERY OF THE WEEK
Teller County will be getting a brewery soon (http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-383-Colorado-Springs-Craft-Beer-Examiner~y2009m10d30-New-brewery-set-to-open-in-Woodland-Park) - The Woodland Park Brewing Company has secured a location just off of U.S. 24 next to the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center. Brewers Jeff Aragon and Brian Horton are currently setting up equipment and plan to be brewing by the end of December and serving by the end of January 2010.
