SHOW NOTES:

The cold and dreary winter months mean it's time to crack out the heavier beers like stouts and porters. This week Erik and Dusty jump back on the Colorado Beer trail and warm up with some local brews. Chocolate and milk are the themes this week as the Taste Bud boys sucks down some Double Chocolate Stout from Fort Collins Brewery (http://www.fortcollinsbrewery.com/), and then get kicked in the milk duds with Ska Brewing (http://www.skabrewing.com/)'s Steel Toe Milk Stout!

Are you a brewer who has some screamin' beers you want us to try on the show?* Email us at AlwaysHoppy@BeerTapTV.com (mailto:AlwaysHoppy@BeerTapTV.com).

Nice choice of beers for this episode of Taste Buds. I absolutely love the FCB Double Chocolate Stout. I had it on a nitro tap up at their tasting room in Fort Fun. I've never heard of the Ska Milk Stout though. Definitely going to have to try that one!

While I'm watching your episode, I'm sipping on a Deschutes The Abyss imperial stout. I'm pairing it with a handful of M&M's chocolate candies. OMG yum!!!

Stouts are by far my favorite brew this time of year.

If only I could afford the luxury of opening up multiple stouts at the same time. I'd LOVE to go to a stout tasting party and compare regular, imperial and milk stouts.

I think I'll pass on Kilted Cowboy Dave's grilled bird sh*t to pair with though. ROFLMAO!

I must admit, I recommend watching BeerTapTV while you're drinking a brew or two. The episodes just make me crack up!

Dusty, you were in rare form for this episode. So much information. Your vast knowledge from your experience at Old Chicago is like an encylopedia! This episode is definitely PG-13 and borderline aRRRRRR!

Fort Collins Brewery is going to move into a whole new brewery in another year or so. They are going to be just a stones throw down the street from Odell Brewing and also will add on a restaurant to their brewery. I can't wait for that to open. Look for it in 2010!

Keep up the great work! Maybe see you in C. Springs during holiday break!

This is just the alcohol from the christmas party talking, but maybe, some 40s should be tasted on the show. I have a feeling it would be like watching TGoB when they did Non-alcoholic beer.

I was busting up behind the camera. Ya, this was a really good, funny episode.

FCB is gonna get a new brewery and restaurant, eh? Sounds like a Tapping the Keg episode to me!

PG-13? No offense bro but his is a show about DRINKING BEER. Sometimes in mass quantities. Anyone under 21 shouldn't be watching this, or ANY other beer show for that matter. Drinking + adult tomfoolery = swearing. Sometimes in mass quantities. ;)

Good episode guys. I really like a good stout as well, and I have not had either of those. They are now on my list of must try beer. I was sipping on a Left Hand Milk Stout while watching, one of my favs. I would have to say my favorite beer this time of year is a good porter though. I wanna see an episode on porters and Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter should be featured. I would like to see if you guys love it as much as I do. Keep the episodes coming guys.
