You can donate $5 for a pint, $10 for a 6-pack, $25 for a case or $100 for a keg. Once you have made a donation, you can send Dad an eCard and urge him to take care of his health. Best of all, 100% of the net proceeds go directly to help the mission of Us TOO International. Story #1: InBev Claims Local Brewers Have An Unfair Advantage (http://www.wsiltv.com/p/news_details.php?lID=1&type=top&newsID=10309) - Because we feel it's our duty to keep you abreast of the dastardly deeds that the foreign owned mega corporation that is Anheuser-Busch InBev keeps perpetrating on the American public... they've filed a suit against the Illinois liquor control commission claiming local brewers have an unfair advantage because small brewers are allowed to distribute product themselves and InBev can't. We call BULLSH*T!
Story #2: Light Beer Sales Are Sagging (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704875604575280522341919974.html?m od=WSJ_Opinion_LEFTThirdBucket) - Advertising Age reported that U.S. sales of the biggest brands are in an alarming slide, with Bud Light down 5.3% this year and Miller Lite off 7.5%. People with taste rejoice!
Story #3: The world’s first Beer Bloggers & Social Media Conference (http://beerbloggersconference.org/) - Will take place November 5 - 7, 2010 in Boulder, Colorado, will bring together an estimated 150 beer bloggers and others involved with online and social media in the beer industry.
